A packed parking lot, had to wait in a Q & get a slot!

Here we go ... the gang on a mission!

First hints of waterbody - of course apart from the cool breeze and the obvious sound of a distant waterfalls.

Seems like normally this season of the year the water would be thin ! Lucky us ... thats what she said :P

Some tech funda was going on abt these buds ... so my curiosity! Bottom-line is Save plants Save planet!

Eastern Hemlocks getting sick, being replaced by new species of trees!! I cant tell the difference basically .... but took a shot to study in detail later :P

The Dingmans falls!! Quite a funny name ... may be to my Tanglish brain!

Oh yeah ... !! This is just ... Testing my Tripod....!!

OK... I admit ... I like to be in the frame ... occasionally :)

It was real loud and fitting for the second tallest water falls in PA 

So basically the guided tour ended with DFalls and we are upto our own to climb up the stairs and look out for more "views" ... U know .. I won't miss these opportunities ;)

Actually the forest and the river sort of preserved without any commercial element whatsoever ..! So it shows in every angle of the climb ... simply awesome.

That is where we were sometime back ... just before stepping on to the nature climb.

Trying to capture the falls ... without me falling !! Quite a dangerous shot ... I might add.

If they let me choose ... this is where I would jump in for a bath ... a couple of feet and the head of the falls :O

Further climbing up the mountain (not stairs anymore) ... the river bed ...!

Seeking solitude ...

An inviting locale ... just the sound of running water!

YES ... the climb wouldn't be completed without soaking in to the water ... spent some "quality" time here at this spot :)

On the way back ... this .. ladies and gentleman ... concludes our trip to "Ding"mans falls :)
